绿色的一天

最近的绿色盛会闹得沸沸扬扬的
没参加那盛会的我,也在家里支持一下
做了两款的绿色甜点
抹茶烤补丁 + 抹茶饼干


材料:
蛋黄 2个
细砂糖 25g
淡奶油 120g
牛奶 50g
抹茶粉 3g(约1/2 茶匙多一点)


做法:
1:蛋黄 + 砂糖 + 抹茶粉脚把均匀备用。
2:牛奶和淡奶油加热至边缘起泡即可。
3:将热牛奶缓慢的加入蛋黄糊里,边倒边搅拌均匀后过滤。
4:缓慢的倒入小杯中,如有气泡用汤匙舀出来。
5:余热烤箱170度,在烤盘装满开水,把杯子放在烤盘上,蒸烤。
6:170度,20-25分钟(看杯子的大小调时间),取出放凉后再放冰箱。

由于家里的器皿有限
只能将就点,用仅有的铁杯子来烤
卖相就不是很吸引了

虽然卖相不好,可是味道是还不错的
可是我觉得抹茶的味道不是很够
被牛奶和奶油味盖过去了
可能是我的抹茶粉不够正宗吧
所以~~>.<



补丁在冰箱里享受冷气的当儿
就开始做抹茶饼干

材料:
底筋面粉 180g
牛油 100g
泡打粉 2/3小匙
抹茶粉 2大匙
砂糖 80g
蛋 1颗

做法:
1:把所有粉类过筛备用。 
2:把牛油放在室温至软化,用电动打蛋器将牛油打至滑顺。
3:把糖分3次加入牛油里打至奶白色如图5。
4:过后,将蛋液打散,分2次加入牛油糊里搅拌均匀。
5:搅拌好后,加入粉类揉成团。
6:把揉好的面团用保鲜膜/原子袋包好放入冰箱冷藏30分钟。

7:把面团从冰箱拿出来,分成25个小球(要大要小自己爱)
8:把小球搓圆放在烤盘上。用任何平的器皿把小球压扁如图13。
9:扁平的抹茶面团没什么特色,我就自做主张用小花饼干模在上面印个小花如图14 & 15。
10:把印好的面团送进已预热的烤箱里烤25-30分钟,150-160度。

饼干在烤着时,家里充满了牛油的香气~
美中不足的是,没了抹茶的香气。。

下次应该要买比较好的抹茶粉~

The biggest Bakery Shop in Ipoh

Today went to Ipoh with Mum to get medicine for my sister
Afterwards, went to the biggest bakery shop in Ipoh which is just newly open for few months

Bake with Yen finally came to Ipoh
Always heard people from Baking Wonderland talk about this shop
but never been there before
Besides that, heard that there selling various type of bakery ingredients, baker wares and stuffs
and the price is reasonable
So, just pay a visit~

It has a very huge space, neat and tidy with the stocks placements
It has a lot of baking ingredients compare to other shop at Ipoh Garden South
Somehow, I still feel that they like lack of something also
Don't know is it because of it is still new
The stocks haven't being place

However, I still spent RM36.60 for little thing~
Should says, my Mum paid RM36.60 on it~ XD

So, tomorrow I'm going to make Royal Icing Butter Cookies with the new Ginger Man Cutter~

Caramel Pudding Chiffon Cake with Instruction

You know what, after I posted the post about the perfect combination - Caramel Pudding Chiffon Cake yesterday
Then I baked it today right after my last presentation of this semester
So, I'm trying to capture some of the steps of when making this cake

Recipe:
Caramel Layer~
60g Sugar
28g Hot Water

Pudding Layer~
50g Egg Yolk
120g Whole Egg (About 3 eggs)
240g Milk
31g Sugar
1/4 tsp Vanilla Essence

Chiffon Cake Layer~~
A. 50g Oil, 42g Flour, 40g Egg Yolk, 50g Milk
B. 103g Egg White, 27g Sugar

Instructions:
Caramel Layer

1. Melt the sugar until golden brown color, then pour the hot water into it and stir well.
*caution: be careful of the water vapor when pouring the water into it
2. Pour the caramel sauce on the mould and set aside.

Pudding Layer~~
1. Melt the sugar by heating the milk. Remove from stove when the sugar has melted.
2. Let the mixture cool down and pour the egg into milk mixture and stir well.
3. Sift to mixture of milk and egg, and add few drops of vanilla essence, put aside.

Chiffon Layer~~
1. Pre-heat oven, 155 to 160 degree celsius. Mix all the ingredients A and set aside.
2. Use an electronic mixer to beat the egg whites as the picture shown.
3. Gradually add in sugar when the egg whites in the form like picture (4).
4. Beat the egg white firm as picture (7).
5. Pour 1/3 of the egg whites mix with the egg yolk batter.
6. Pour the mixed batter into the remaining egg whites. Use cut and fold to mix it well.
7. Pour the pudding mixture on the top of caramel sauce. After that, follow by the chiffon cake batter on the pudding layer.
8. Put the mould that with all the batter on the other bigger mould and pour hot water into the bigger mould. Send it into oven, 155 to 160 degree Celsius for 40-45 minutes.

It can be serve when it is entirely cold. It will taste better after store in refrigerator for one night.
p/s: Separate the caramel syrup in a individual bowl to avoid the cake body too wet, if you couldn't finish it in a while.

造型糖霜饼干

这几天有股冲动想做“造型糖霜饼干”
其实从几年前就想做了
只是那时就只想想罢了,没实际行动

而最近浏览别人的照片
发觉每片饼干都可爱极了
简直就像是一件艺术品
又再激起我的兴致
尤其是看到 Baking Wonderland 里的一位member Bebie Hoong
她做造型蛋糕,饼干做到出神入化
不得不佩服得五体投地~ orz
不过她比较常做翻糖造型哦~

想要上传她那些不得了作品给大家看一下
可是碍于版权,大家还是click进去她的脸书看吧~

过后又上网浏览别人的食谱
让我找到另一位高人 小本厨房
她的造型饼干也是很行的哟~
快快把它标签起来,好让我下次可以参考参考

Perfect Combination - Caramel Pudding Chiffon Cake

Sometimes, I'm just too free or bored
So, will just scroll up and down with my mouse
to see the Facebook updates, pictures of friends or the activities in groups
Hmmmm...The group that I view frequently is Baking Wonderland
to find out some tasty recipes that shared by the members

Somehow, I found a recipe which I feel that is unique
and it will be a perfect combination
Caramel Pudding Chiffon Cake
The name sounds tempting right?
 Sweet and bitter of caramel + Smooth and milky taste of pudding + Light and fluffy chiffon cake body
Oh my goodness!!
How do you think about it?

However, the first Caramel Pudding Chiffon that I made, FAILED!
The cake body and pudding is fine, but my caramel sauce ... ... ...
(◜௰◝)

So I baked the cake without the caramel
The result of the cake overall is fine
But you will think that the pudding is very dry
Not smooth without the caramel!

Few days later, I tried again
Eventually, it was a SUCCESS!!
I'm so happy~~XD
With caramel sauce, the whole cake is extremely soft
When you shake the plate, the cake will dance~

You could see the difference between this picture and first picture above
On the other day, I continuous baked FOUR Caramel Pudding Chiffon Cake in ONE day!
One for My Dear, My sis which is in PJ, and also the workers of my dad
and last one, of course for myself and family 
I'm just in love with this!
Moreover, this cake won't be too sweet~


Recipe:
Caramel Layer:
60g Sugar
28g Water

Pudding Layer:
50g Egg Yolk
120g Egg White (About 3 eggs)

Josephine Cafe & Bistro + Haagen Dazs

Girls always emo for no reason
but most of the reason would be the Boyfriend
The recent two weeks
My mood is seriously in the deep down of the valley
I think I do not need to tell the reason, you can guess it yourself

Ok, just ignore it
Had a day of outing with my most crazy Girlssss at Ipoh
To make myself no time to emo
And it sucessfully make my day!
The craziessss friends <3 Rui Pin , Nat , Xiao Yen , Qian , Queen , Wen Yun , Mei Fong , Hwee
Although I'm extremely exhausted~

First stop, went to Josephine Cafe & Bistro for our dinner
This is the second time for me to visit here
The environment in the cafe is very nice
Is a good place for friends to have gathering
and good place for couples for any occasion celebration
The few dishes we ordered is taste good
but I think they need some improvement on certain part
Overall it is good, more than good

By the way, we didn't take much pictures in Josephine

Mix Plater (RM52)
(not really remember the name of the dish)
Once the dish is served, I was so in love with it
because it is just smell good!

By the way, me and friends love the dip sauce that provided
Perfect match with deep fried food

Fettuccine 

Caesar Burger (RM18)
The taste is good, all of us like the taste
Somehow, the meat is too dry, like chewing gum
If the meat can be tender, it will be perfect I think

Vegetable Burger (RM18)

Fusilli Carbonara (RM30)
Amongst the few, I like this one the most
The creamy and thick sauce, is so so so so titillating
Is just awesome nice!! 

Last but not least, Teriyaki Chicken Chop (RM30)
The sweetness and sourness of sauce is savoury~

Oh ya!! We forgot to take a picture of the drinks
but nevermind, some of the drinks is just so so
In my opinion, ONLY one drink that we ordered is nice!
which is Mango Milk Shake
I like the milky taste seriously!!
You should try it next time

After a FULL dinner at Josephine, we went for DESSERT on the spot without any resting
I would just say, Girlssss always have a space for DESSERT
No matter how full she is
So, Haagen Dazs was the choice of us as our Dessert
yummy-licious~

Haagen Dazs Fondue which I wanted to try many years ago
Due to the price, and portion
I have no chance to give it a try
Until met this bunch of craziesssss
We were just like the girls from Kampung
So excited when the fondue is served
Everyone is capturing the fondue itself, just like capturing a Super Star 
hahaaaa~~XD
Yea!! This is the trend of youngers!
Food need to serve the social networking sites or phone applications before it goes to our stomach

I wish to have a lot of things ... 
but, I'm not rich

Caress

Time flies
Already four years be with you
Somehow I feel that there is distance between us

Sometimes, looking at friends
Seriously, I'm really jealous on them, I mean it
I jealous that, their bf will call them very often,
I jealous that, their bf will video chat with them at least once a week, I said at least
Some of them will FaceTime with them everyday

Been quite some time, we never have video chat
even calls
You are busy with working
busy with social with friends
When have time, you are busy with sleeping
then continue social with friends
then continue with sleeping again
We just contact each other just like other friends do,
texting

I feel that we are closer than best friends
but like something absent between a couple

期待。开心。遗憾



寒窗苦读了几年,为的就是一张文凭,让我们可以找到一份比较好的工作
这一刻即将来临了,却有万般的不舍

期待了7年,从 F6 到 UTAR Foundation 到 Degree
总共期待了7年
期待穿上毕业袍,和疯疯癫癫的朋友们拍一辑的沙龙照
在我们的回忆里画上美好的色彩
期待穿上毕业袍,站在台上拿卷轴
光宗耀祖

开心是因为在这大学生涯里,认识了一班疯癫的朋友
让我的人生增添了一段美丽的一章
最然过程中难免有一些摩擦
但那也只是一个让我们成长的过程
开心是因为有你们的扶持,才可以一直撑下去

遗憾的是我们不能同期毕业,见证大家在舞台上拿毕业证书的一刻
遗憾的是我们不能一起抛毕业帽,拍下那值得留念的一刻
遗憾的是。。。

虽然大家不能同期毕业,但还是希望你们能够顺利地完成学业
