Cute! Octopus Spaghetti were enjoyed hot bath!

Bored with ordinary pasta,
such as Bolognese Spaghetti, Olio Aglio Angel Hair, Macaroni and Cheese and etc?
Let's make your spaghetti looks cute!

Try this out!
Octopus Spaghetti Hot Dogs
It is very easy and fun to make
^.^

Ingredients:
One pack of Spaghetti (I used Vermicelli)
Sausages or Cocktail sausages
One can of Prego Alfredo Pasta Sauce (You may use any flavour of sauce you like)
2 Cheddar cheese slices (Optional~)
Plenty of favorite vegetables

Method:
1. Cut the sausages into big chunks.
2. Stick your sausages with few sticks of spaghetti and set aside.

3. Prepare a pot of boiling water, add in salt and oil, then cook the octopus spaghetti for few minutes (depends on what type of spaghetti you use).

4. Drain it and set aside.

5. Reheat your choice of pasta sauce, since mine is Alfredo sauce, so i add in 2 slice of cheddar cheese to make it more rich.
6. Scoop some of the sauce to the ready spaghetti. Serve it when hot. =)

Notes:
* Do not cut the sausages into too big size, make it small chunks will look nicers
* Do not stick too much spaghetti in one sausage chunk
* I personally think that Vermicelli Pasta is the best to make this octopus spaghetti because it only need 6 minutes to cook it.

Enjoy your day with this cute Octopus Spaghetti!

Pork Dating @ Betty's Midwest Kitchen

As you know, Malaysia is consider a Muslim country,
so never ever thought of there is a shop that is selling ALL pork menu in Malaysia
Hell yeah! It has ONE in Malaysia
oppsss! Maybe there is two, three, four and ... ... ... etc? Lolz

Betty's Midwest Kitchen @ Aman Suria Damansara

Nice environment, just the space inside is a bit small
It might be one of the lifestyle in US?!
People love to sit closely
Perhaps

There are a lot of cute piggy pictures on the wall, cute right?

You have to be early as it will full of crowd when it is almost 7pm
Well, let me show you the picture of the food,
It will tell all the story without words

Side dishes
It has a very unique name, "Dog Food" RM10
You definitely will think, "What the hell, why name it as Dog Food instead of Human Food?"
Just kidding
but it was the best fries I ever ate
Can you imagine the fries is crispy outside and soft inside,
dip with the gravy and melted cheese on top
Oh My Goodness! It is just so so so so so so yummy!

Next, main course!
Grilled Beer Braised Boston Butt RM27.50

Classical Meat Loaf RM16.50
How to say this, the first few bites, it is very ncie
but afterwards, you will feel that it was too sour,
too much tomato sauce? Might be?
But it was a good try, you could order and share with your partners
instead of finish it your own, correct?

Pork Chop with Apple RM23
Unbelievable this is just nice and match!
You will not feel it is too much
because the apple sauce is refreshing

Pork Chop with Country Gravy RM23

All of the pork chop is tender, well cooked
It will be too hard if the cook overcook the chop
So ... ... doens't need to say out right?
By the way, they have a very nice and tasty Gravy sauce, seriously!

Second Birthday Cake - Choco Velvet Cake

Red Velvet Cake, was so famous in Western Country
Many of them, I mean bakers love to bake this lovely cake!
And I was fall in love with Red Velvet Cake with my first try at Dreamz Bakery
The sourness make you feel like have 2nd...3rd...4th...5th  and more bite on the cake
You definitely will say "May I have one more piece"
Lolz

Actually, the charming colour of Red Velvet Cake is comes from a plant,
which called Beets
Beets or beetroots is belong to the Chenopodiaceous family.
There are several benefits of beets such as:
1. Good for heart
2. Avoids birth defects
3. Prevent certain cancers
4. Good for liver
5. Prevent respiratory problems
6. Boosts energy
7. Prevent cataract
8. Capillary fragility
9. Mascular degeneration
10. Stroke

Beets juice helps in the production of human sex hormones. In ancient times, beets was used to cure fever and constipation. In the Middle Ages, beets was also used as a remedy for digestive disorders. Besides that, beets leaves are also good for curing wounds.

However, beets contain oxalates which also called organic acids. If one is have too much of beets, it can cause body fluid to crytallize. So people with kidney or gallbladder problems should avoid beets.

Ok, since it is my Grandpa's birthday
So I decided to make a birthday cake instead of buying from bakery shop
So, switch on Ipad, gear up and google search for the recipe
found a lot of Red Velvet Cake recipes
most of it using artificial colouring to make it red in colour
but I personally think that
Although the RED colour is very attractive and beautiful
but for the sake of our health
and it is so difficult to get beets in Kampar market
It is better not to put any artificial colouring
Especially it is bake for my grandpa
So just make it as Choco Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

My Masterpiece - Not as decorative as Bakery Shop
But still consider good right?

Sorry that couldn't take the picture of the process due to I am rushing to finish it at the evening on that day
So...
Only have this few

The recipe was retrieved from Martha Stewart
and the Cream Cheese Frosting was retrieved from Pinch My Salt

Please refer to the links above for ingredients and methods
Note:
(1) The cake body from Martha Stewart is too sweet, so I reduce the amount of sugar to 1 cup, but it is still sweet. Maybe you could reduce more since the ingredients of frosting are mostly sugar.
(2) Personally added about 10 teaspoon of lemon juice into the Cream Cheese Frosting.
It was a bit too liquid, have to modify a little bit next time. First time was the experiment.

By the way, according to my colleague,
she claimed that Red velvet Cake from The Bee & Ben's Cafe is used beets!
Should pay a visit next time!

It's been a while

It's been a while, away from my blog
Why?
There are several reasons why I'm not active in blog all this while
(1) My laptop is not perform well, it is gonna hurt my eyes if I continue using the stupid laptop!
(2) I having my internship now
(3) Prepare own lunch box is tiring, so....
(4) Busy for CNY stuff like baking CNY cookies and etc, busyyyyyyy
(5) Since CNY, I was back hometown almost every week
(6) ... ... .... anything else?

Lolz...
I think that's all
By the way, time flies
Today already week 10 for my internship programme
another 3 weeks, then I will end my 3 years of study
It's time to enter to the REAL world
Can I go back to kindergarden which has a lot of joy?

During this 8 weeks of internship
Honestly, didn't do much in PR things
it is more on admins work
but at least I able to write news release twice
although it is being edited by my mentor and senior

Well, only a few months, what can I expect?
It is takes time to learn everything
It is still ok at least, I able to work little bit of things that related to the course I study

By the way, tomorrow I am going to send goodies bags to editors
It is consider one of the PR task
as PR have to maintain good relationship with media

Although I'm handling most admins works
but it is also a good platform for me practice how to talk to others through phone
as PR always need to do so too, right?

But it is one major thing I NEED to improve
which is my language, ENGLISH!
It is the weakness of me
Due to the poor English no matter in spoken or written form
It makes me feel embarrass when wanna to talk with others
Especially my colleagues all are English educated
=="
haizzzz....
